Hi everyone,
I'm new here to this site. I found it by surfing on google. Thank God for google ;-)
Where to start? I'm 26 years old and I live in VA with my boyfriend and our recently adopted kittens. I was born deaf - due to my ear nerves not developing. I grew up in a mainstreamed school and went to RIT (I wanted to get away from VA/DC/MD area lol) The best times of my life were there. I'm also an Alpha Sigma Theta sister if some of you are familiar with that sorority. Right now I work as a HR Specialist and the job isn't too bad. I don't picture myself working here for another 10 years or so. My wrists and shoulders probably won't be able to handle the 8 hours of being on a computer a day. Today's a really slow day at work due to the holiday tomorrow so that's why I'm here.
My interests are: reading, spending time with my family and friends, cooking, hmm many others. I'm pretty open-minded and I tend to stay out of drama or problems.
Anyway, I look forward to being part of AllDeaf.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
