My name is Jenny and I'm very interested in the deaf community. I had a life changing experience that has led me to pursue an education in communicating with and becoming involved with the deaf community. I live in Painesville Ohio and I'm taking ASL classes at Lakeland Community college. I couldn't have a better teacher. I will post my story elsewhere at a more appropriate time. Meanwhile, is there anyone willing to hang out with a hearing person in the Cleveland OH area or know of any socials I could attend? Thank you and I'm glad to be a part of your community!
 
I just wanted to say hello and :welcome: to AD. I also am a hearing ASL student. It is for sure a great goal to work toward I think. Anyways I wish you luck with your future in ASL.

Although it has only been 2 days, so I might be being uncharitable.
 
Shopenhaur ? You know any deaf people who idolize Shopenhaur? We are deprived enough already.
