?First go to a good hearing center/dr. Not just one out of phone book advertising hearing aids. I am going to a hearing and balance center. I will get my first CI next Thursday. Since she has some hearing in left ear I would think they might put a CI in the right ear. Again, see a good Dr. Depending on where you are located, I'm sure there are people on this site that can recommend a good one for you.Rampratt
