Yes, two of the main reasons behind requiring parolees to work are trying to keep them from having idle time. Keep them busy so they will not be drawn back to the criminal ways. The other is to make them actually be a contributing member of socitey.
If someone wants to work, they can. They can get a job in a day or two. It may not be a glamourous job with great pay and benifits, but it is a source of income.
Any fast food, any labor job, construction, telemarketing, car wash, sales, if you want a job, you can get one. If you dont want to work, you have nothing but excuses. I have to patience or time for excuses. Actions are much louder than words! What the old saying "gonna bitch....go home".
