My 3 yr old son loves to watch many shows on Nickelodeon, Disney, and even likes to watch Animal Planet sometimes, it depends on his mood. If i was watching something like, 7th Heaven, He'd pretend he is one of the actors and copying their expressions and movements in the show 
My other son who is 6 1/2 months old, (7 mos on Sept 6)
well... he likes to watch any cartoons on Nickelodeon and Disney, but doesn't pay attention to it much, hes mostly focused on playing with his toys. The only thing that will get his attention is if we had baseball or football on tv.. he likes watching it, which surprises me..
