The Future has come true!

but sad is I aint got 22,000 burning a hole in my pocket :(

This reminds me of the classic "Mirage Bowl". Those things were fun!

I would use that money to go private university and buy ther best interpreter.

I'd use the money to pay off my debts and then MOVE out...out...out...there!!!
Into the big, bad world, here I come!!

I'd pay off my car, bills and any outstanding debts...put some away towards a house and maybe a trip back to the USA to visit my family and friends. :)

While the cool factor is very high, I think a MUCH better buy would be a 23" widescreen monitor with 3840x2400 resolution. That's over four times HDTV resolution!

They only cost $8000!

They were formerly $22,000

You are missing the point!! I am not posting for the coolness factor, I am posting for the interactive factor. You wont be able to interact with your 23" monitor while you can with the Heliodisplay.

These non-holographic images can be fully interactive, allowing a hand or finger to select, navigate and manipulate — as if it were a virtual touch screen.

That means you can move stuff around on your computer desktop with your hands and not your mouse! You can play video games thru the monitor and not the joysticks or gamepads.

True, the coolness factor can be really high for a holographic-style display!

The $7000 monitor still has at least a little wow factor too, you know!

if I got that kind of money, I'd pay off the debts, move in apt and trade in for good new car

If I have kind of money like this, I have to pay off my college loan debt first!! :(

Lovable Leo...

Very funny. You can set up your bulletin board system by starting with a $20-per-month web hosting service and some popular PHP or Pearl bulletin board system. Obviously, if you become popular, you will also have to pay excess bandwidth charges!
