When I flew from Davenport Iowa to Reno NV for another rib cook-off show a couple of weeks ago I wasn't aware of all the rules by the United States Homeland Security advises passengers that they may no longer bring on liquids such as shampoo, conditioner, hair gel, beverages, creams/lotions , mouthwash, tooth paste, purfume etc in carry-on luggage but prescription medicines can be packed in the carry-on luggage if the label on the medicine has a name that matches the name of the ticket holder...I knew about the lighters but not the liquids until we saw a sign where you go through the security ...One of our crew had a carry-on luggage that had all her personal bathroom supplies such as toothpaste, shampoo, and etc, they made her throw it all away before she could board on the plane...:eek3: So be aware of what is and is not allowed on airplanes otherwise you might be stuck buying those items all over again ...:bowdown:

Has anyone here ever gone through something like this before?...

YOU can PACK them in the suitcase so it won't go waste.

So for other travelers, keep that in your mind for near future trips. I would do same...pack them in the suitcases with zip lock so it won't spill, etc.

Yes I packed mine in my luggage cause I don't like to carry too much stuff just my purse on my back LOL

Reno was the busiest show, but love the city :)

Thanks to Arab brings gel.... Security is quite good move and thinking what hell Arab is using gel for his hair??!?!??! *hint hint* ahh there's go, chemical for bomb.... *boom arrest arab man* That how stop bring their personal stuffs as liquid into the airplane!

Does airplane will offers soda when we ride on airplane?

I will rather to pack my shampoo, toothpaste, Axe, acne treatment and other liquids in suitcase instead of bags that bring on airplane.
 
Yes Angel, I just found out about the restrictions a couple weeks ago when my sister was leaving for her honeymoon. The airlines made her dump out all baby formula except for one bottle. I also heard that they're trying to make it so you cant have any carry-on luggage at all. I think it's all pretty messed up.

Yes, they do offer free sodas on the plane. I flew last spring and I had plenty of free sodas from the flight attendants.
 
Yes you can pack them in the suitcase IN THE ZIP LOCK only.

Yes they will give you water or soda on the plane while in the air.

Yes they still do serve soda/coffee on the airplane but can't bring one on...

Indeed, it can be pretty messed up and choatic one at that too. Although, all this is done so in order to not have a messed up wreckage on the ground. ;)

What? are you serious Formula??? What if the trip is longer than 3 hours, what is the baby going to drink?

I wonder what the reason behind this anyways do you know?

No carryon luggage?! I would be pretty pissed! I need my carryon luggage to carry my meds and other important stuff in....geez!

the liquid formula not allowed...powered yes...

Best way is feed the baby before boarding...or wait till board and have the flight attendent fillup the bottle for you.

So best choice is breastfeeding!
