About 7 or so hours ago, I was headed out the door to buy something I needed, and I spotted my housemate dozing on the couch, and on the spur of the moment, I filled my lungs up with air, and shouted "BOO". Well, he jumped and woke up in a hurry.

A few hours later, I went to borrow something from him, and he had his nose in his laptop, and I shouted "BOO" again, with the same result. I laughed hard both times.

Why do you think that's funny? I would not want to be scared like that while sleeping or doing something. In my opinion, that's not nice. I hate to be scared so I wouldn't do that to people.

Normally, I don't do that kind of stuff, but the chance to get even was too good to pass up, and I had a good laugh, and so did he, cause he knew I was getting even with him. Heck, I almost never prank people-- it's not part of who I am. Seriously.

Lucky for you he's not a veteran with PTSD.

yes you are right. Never messing up with veteran either with or without PTSD but most of them do have PTSD. My co worker is a vetern, and admitted that he has a PTSD. His personality is VERY VERY CHEERFUL and HILARIOUS but still have PTSD from afghanistan.

I would never do this to a war veteran-- it's unkind.

I used to worry about "my ticker" :giggle:(heart)...as whenever someone tapped on my shoulder, I would jump...People don't realize it....(mainly hearies). That;s why I have several mirrors in my home so I can see what is in back of me....

I think Reba's thought was more that he might react and turn and kill you before he knew what he was doing.

That's true, but my friend never went to war, though. Heck, he's not been out of state in many years.

My interpreter warned me that I can't touch her to wake her up during lunch break or she will hit someone. She used army before. So I respect her. No worry, She have cell phone as clock alarm.

I'm not a veteran, but my friends know full well if I'm sleeping on the couch to NOT shake me awake, because I have the potential to break someone's nose. They've been warned, and they know.
