Actually....he revised it and said he didn't know why he was there. :D (And, rest assure, I'll keep a close eye on him if anything gets TOO out of hand.)

BTW, thanks for going to "CW". Actually, I host a weekly chat there Fridays at 9:00p.m. Indiana time (presently that's Central, but soon it'll be Eastern...yeah, we're one of those backwards states that doesn't practice daylight savings). Quite informative. Still trying to get Christy in there, but....unlike her "evil stepsisters," she's busy being an actual role model, touring the country to Deaf events. (Monday she's to be in I think San Francisco, then next weekend travels out of country to Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario [you may check the "Christy News and Events" forum for where she's to be, PLUS her website for stuff she's doing]).

But, please. Do participate in CW as much as possible and spread knowledge about CW to your friends.

Christy will come to San Francisco State University where I am studying here, so I will see her on monday, Sept. 22 at SFSU McKenna theater. :D

Very funny about BBNT's.

Yes, I met Christy Smith last week (Sept 12 in Boulder, Colorado) for Colorado's Deaf Awarness. She's so nice and friendly. I like her wide smiling (whoa!). At begin, she was nervous then break the ice. Really interested about her story about herself and lot of experience she have been thru.
 
I was at Christy's World just yesterday and it looks quite nice. I got an email from her after I emailed her commenting on her success on Survivor and my reaction to her being voted out and so forth. I received response like a couple weeks later. She's quite nice, friendly! She got interviewed by my sister in Washington DC - sis works for OneDayTV and DeafNation.com so...that's how she got the chance to interview Christy. :D

Hi, Sarah

I went to McKenna Theater to listen Christy's presentation today. She is amazing woman!! She is a true survivor!!

I told her that she is a truly survivor and I am glad that she did not lose her leg due to severe infection. She beamed like an angel. I got her autograph and somebody took picture of us (using my camera). Overall, I am very satisfied with her presentation!! :D

Yes, she did sign ASL with her voice on. Really, I understand her with no problem since I was in oral school.

Yes, I learned that she did not use ASL in Survivor 6 show because no one used ASL. Instead, Christy found some effective ways to form communication with tribe members. CBS was very supportive of her though.

well, what i have watched survivor 6... i have seen her use ASL.. about her best friend jennifer ( correct me if i'm wrong) and she has taught her tribe ASL too.. some basic signs..

other deaf celbs are asshole.. they don't sign in public speech like marliee Matlin.

I know a couple Deaf Celebrities. Assholes, you say?!?! They have two very good reasons to be assholes.. One, they do have an asshole, where else can they take a shit? And, two, they are on top of the Crab Bucket of Deaf Community (yeah, you can see their assholes from that view. Are they pink or brown?!)!!
