My husband who is 100% hearing, works as a machinist. A couple months ago, he came home all excited because a deaf man was hired. (We don't see or meet many Deaf people in our area). I would like to know where I could go to meet Deaf people in our area.
What is the easiest way to communicate with the deaf man so not to go against the Deaf Culture?
Also what would be the easiest way for me to teach my husband and 2 daughters ASL?
Thank you sooo much for your input.

You can try going to local deaf clubs in your area. If there are other organizations too for the deaf, try them too, so you can make more friends in the deaf community. Also, call the Deaf school in your state to see if they offer any type of ASL classes. If you have a Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, give them a call to give you some help in finding ASL classes. Good luck!!! :)
