I knew my Sumo DM aid wasnt workin properly. it is been sounding weird for me I left it on then put it to my mother's ear and she goes its whistling weirdly! I said the battery thing doesnt shut either. So on fri im going for it to be checked and new earmould!!

Is it new or old one? Since I thought you had spirit one.
If its whistling weirdly its probably because of the feedback management at work trying to reduce the whistling.
But since battery door doesn't shut all way in, you probably broke it or its already broken when you received it if it was new, be careful when you get sumo dm replaced its easy to break battery door with any hearing aid.
