I am hearing but he is deaf

So I have been talking to this boy on and off for 10 years. We live about 7 to 8 hours apart. I am still waiting for the day we meet in person. During the ten years we both dated other people but some way come back together talking again. I don’t know how I should feel. Please I need some advice!
