I am going to the Apple Festival!

I am going to the Apple Festival at the Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf! :dance: :dance2: I am very exicted (pardon my spelling)! This will be my first :deaf: Event that I will be attending! I will get a lot of ASL practice when I go on Saturday or Sunday.
 
OoOo sounds like fun, I haven't personally went to an apple festival before, but have been to the pumpkin festival and they did have carmeral apples/apples cider/apples etc...I hope you will have a great time :)
 
Angel, If you are in Long Island for Apple Festival. Ill be happy to take you, rr and cheri there. Alot of deaf ppl going there on saturday afternoon. Few on Sunday. I hope I could go if anyone offer me a ride. ;)

The festival had been going on for over 50 yrs. They are selling pies, apple, craft, hs senior sell soda, Alumni sell hotdog, hamburger, sauasge.. and more..

I hope this Saturday will be a nice weather because three years ago, the weather was sooo bad! RAIN RAIN ALL DAY.. MUDDY ALL OVER!! It had to cancel because the grass were so muddy and couldnt drive off the car from the muddy grass.
 
Hope you have BIG FUN!! I love the festival at St. Rita School for the Deaf where my son went. I go every summer, and have lots of fun. The town I grew up had Apple Festival every fall. Drink some apple cider for me.

I went to the Apple Festival!

I went to the Apple Festival yesterday with my dad! We only went for a little more than a hour. We had lunch there. I signed for my cheeseburger and our cans of soda. When I was waiting for my cheeseburger, I heard a woman say "Peter" and I looked up and saw a man who looked like Peter Artinian at the booth. Does anyone know if that was him yesterday? Before we left, we brought two apple pies, a half box of apple, and some fudge (which all of is very good).

We are going to Applefest in Newburyport, MA today! Believe it or not it will be my first time and it'll be my 3 year old daughter's first time as well. :) Can't wait to go soon!
 
Hey - I had a great time there too. I FINALLY met LinuxGold and his wife. I knew his wife from deaf school. LinuxGold is so nice guy and soo funny. He kept his wife laughing all the time. They are so cute couple!! I saw alot of old friends from deaf school. I tried to catch up news with friends. I couldnt because there were sooo many deafies. I had to say hi hi hi hi to them when I walked by. It was good to see old friends.

One thing that I was very glad that It was a sunny out. Few yrs ago it was pouring and muddy. They had to cancel the festival. Today there is another day, I dont want to go. One day is a good enuff for me.

You know something, I didnt buy and bring anything home because I kept babbling with friends. hehe. The foods at the festival look great, so are the crafts etc.
