Anyone know a shortcut from I-90 to I-70 - plan to drive down from I-90 to Columbus, Ohio and get on I-70 instead of using the tollway all the way to Illinois.

Have you thought of look at the map on the paper and measure by yourself?

Here is tip, measure with string, not tape or rule.
 
There's also MaqQuest. MQ usually gives you the shortest route. If the shortest route includes tolls, then you're on your own. Sometimes, toll is the best way to get from one place to another... unless you're willing to drive an extra five hours to get where you're going.

MapQuest sucks. Use brain and paper. :mrgreen:
 
i avoided the PA tollway coming to MO from the DC area -- used the I 70 going west -- so AquaMaiden -- i think it might be the best way to go if u wanted to avoid the tollway from Rochy to MN
 
why not go to your nearby AAA? :dunno:
They have good travel advisors and help you with route plannings.

I agree with you that AAA is the best travel advisor.. but however you must be a member of AAA or they'll charge you.. become a member of AAA cost money too.. but not much..
 
im a member of the AAA and they DO good in travel planning especially with the driving -- are u a member of AAA AquaMaiden qq
 
Used to be member of AAA but it was under mom's name and she cancelled the memership last year *sobs*
