There used to be a Gary Larsen cartoon of a bunch of vultures in a desert gathered around something, and all you could see was a pair of cowboy boots sticking out at one side of the group. But one vulture was standing up straight wearing a cowboy hat and saying to his buddies "hey, everybody, look at me, I'm a cowboy, howdy! howdy! howdy!"

I am a hearing person who's been involved in disability rights for 26 years. I moved to Canada in 2003 to escape the Bush administration's shocking and awful policies, and am now working for a small company that makes products to help people with various communication disabilities. Among these is a hand-held device with LSQ (langue des signes du Québec) output.

Howdy and welcome to AD. Yea yea let ride em cowboy!!!! Putting on my cowgirl hat and boot. Hoist myself on the horse. Whoooooooooooooooosh I go on a horse across the meadow. :D
