I don't know if anyone posted this thread before but I thought I would give it a try, if someone did already posted it Im sorry!

I was wondering how young were you when the first person asked you to marry him???

Me I was in the 12th grade... He was 28 and I was 18 years old.... He asked me and I started laughing because I couldn't help it He texted it on his cell phone asking me *chuckles*, I told him I was wayy to young to be married to him, But I couldn't help laughing.... But he was the first person who asked me to marry him but I turned him down......


What about you
 
My first proposal was at age 19. (we split up years later - so didnt marry)

My second proposal was at age 25. (we split up two years later - so didnt marry)

My third proposal was at age 27. (we did marry but divorced 5 1/2 years later)

My fourth and LAST proposal was at age 37 :) This one will LAST for eternity! :angel:
 
When I turned 18, I turned down a first and a few who asked to date me or marry me. They rushed too fast. And I don't need to rush. I met my then-husband (now separated) hubby when I was 20 1/2 years old. We got married when I was 21 1/2 years. I shoulda wait for 5 fricken years to test him out... jeez. But love to have kids at early ages tho.

I think i was 24 when i propsed to my ex wife. presently divorced. I dont think i will marry again.

Thanks honey! I never gave up on love - love is worth taking all risks for!

OUr big day is next month - hard to believe it is almost here! :hyper:
 
18- promise ring- he cheated on me
24- engagement ring- split up
33- engagement ring- off right now cuz he is still married.
 
My bf and I have been dating for 4 years 6 months and 6 days (but who is counting) I am 25 and still waiting for the proposal. Hopefully it will happen before my 26th birthday (March 2007)
 
I was 19 when my best friend gave me a marriage proposal. Unfortunately, I was too young to take him seriously, and I laughed at him. :ugh2:

The truth is, I was too young to get married, but I wish I had taken him more seriously. I wish I had said... "Not right now, but ask me again in X years." As it was, I didn't, and we never married.

This is too bad, too. He was a great guy!

Yes. We took our time to get married. Really we had financial problem. So, when we had the money to get married. We Got married two years ago. :)
 
Heh...my first marriage proposal was when I was 6 years old, and another one straight after by a different boy, both were fighting over me...odivously was a bit too young!

Still young so haven't had that many proposals, although I doubt I will get many more in the future regarding the way my current relationship is going :)

haha I laughed at mine when I was 18 going on 19......Too young for me also!

I'm sorry for your discomfort, but glad to know that I wasn't the only one to think a guy was off his rocker for proposing marriage!

I was thinking at the time, "Are you NUTS?!" I had just started college, and was SO NOT ready to settle down. At the time, I wasn't even in love with him. That happened later, but yeah, I laughed at him. :ugh2:

I regret it now, but at the time, I just couldn't fathom getting married to anyone. I still had a lot of growing up to do first.
 
I was asked to be married by my ex-boyfriend when I was 20 and he was 26. Split up with him when I was 22. (big relief!)

Again I was asked to be married by husband (then boyfriend) when I was 27 1/2 (he's the same age as me) and got married when I was 29. I've been married for 5 years now. :h5: and some days we'd do this :slap:

Why did I think you were a male? :io: I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go well with you guys.

21> promise ring then got engagement, then got married...


28> engagement ring - found out in my ex's serect past n controled my life..
 
funny my ex thought we could get married someday when I was 20 last year but never happeneed anyway lol

but then again...I dont believe in marriage anyway.

Basically I didn't have time to explain to him why because I was on the floor laughing with my aunt.... It was funny~

He wrote a messege on the cell phone saying I want to marry you and saved it.. I was like OH MY GOSH! I told him how long was this on your cell phone? Since the day I met you... He asked me on the 3rd day and thats how long we have known eachother..... 3 FREAKING DAYS!!!!! COME ON!!!!! He had my name on the cell phone basically asking me to marry him!!!!! MAWAHAHAH! Your not alone girl! Now since Im older it depends on the guy and ONLY if we have love and respect towards eachother.. etc....
