I'm wondering what year was the deaf school built, and why it can't be turned into a 'land mark'..saving it from destruction. The need to rebuild the other school is deemed neccessary and appropriate, however, to destroy, tear down the 'deaf school' doesn't. Nothing is mentioned with how close these two buildings actually is. If the taxpayers, those that live there and within that state realize how much more money could be saved IF the deaf school wasn't demolished and simply upgraded with such things like new wiring, etc.,...the building itself could be of enormous benefit to the community for other practical uses.
Therefore, if enough people realize this, then just maybe, maybe the deaf school can be salvaged and used with good benefits to the community itself as well as being a land mark.
