Yeah...one of my neighbors saves aluminum cans too. But keeps them in black plastic bags. As to why people throw their beer cans in the floorboards? most likely not caring at all. I keep my car clean, no cans or trash. Have a small trash baggie in the car. I've seen some horrible cars with all kinds of trash in them...LOL...breeding grounds for roaches, ants and rats.
