So..I basically use a dri-aid box to keep my CI clean and to prevent any moisture from getting into the CI processor. However, my N5 is dirty.. And this is what it basically looks like: IMG_1786.jpg

Whenever it gets dirty like that, my dad orders in a replacement and switches it around and sends it off to cochlear. I was curious to know if there is any other method to clean the N5.

Thanks!

My daughter's processors get dirty, although you'd find it hard to tell as they are black.

After she's been playing sports or in the mud/rain, I usually follow the dry nonabrasive cloth approach recommended, but I've also taken an alcohol-free wipe to the them if they are particularly dirty or if they've been underwater and I want to clear away silt or pool chemicals.

We replace those little mic filters frequently.

I used a cloth as showed in the video before, and it didn't really help that much, and I'm a little bit nervous about using alcohol-free wipes.. do you mean you use a small amount of water and clean them with a q-tip?

ohh okay! i gotcha! I might have to go buy those tomorrow :giggle: when i get those i'll have to try it out and see how it works!

Yeah, you know, we have a 6YO and all, sooo -- but I don't imagine you have this sort of thing laying about :laugh2:
