I would go back in time, to save Jesus from dying on the cross, so then we dont have christianity. This would mean no oralism, and no eventuated scientism stemming from christianity that proclaimed deaf people to have no souls, this warped ideas had spanned back as far as back as 13th century or so. What I am saying is that if christianity never was 'born' then maybe this dreadful encouragement to betray the logic of believing deaf people have souls are killed before it happened. People in the middle ages were so duped into thinking (along with all sorts of superstitions) that deaf people are dumb as animal (literally), having "no souls" gave christandom an excuse to inflict harm and hatred for deaf people throught out the ages, right to this day.
