How much do you want the PS3 to drop before you consider buying it? (60gb package of course)

$100 for the PS3. I'm a jew! If you know what I mean.

Yep...$300 is pretty affordable to me as well...too bad that same price didnt go to PS3 at all. ouch.

Mod's Note:

I edited the poll and updated it by request of the thread starter.

I voted (i will not buy ps3)... PS3 is nothing special to me, because I have X360 that enuff..

I voted not buy the PS3.

Simple reasons:
1. Not enough games to start with.
2. Emulation instead of computer chip for PS1 and PS2.
3. Lack of features found in PS2 (memory card and controller slots)
4. Not big fan of Sony.
5. Always put Nintendo consoles first before others.
6. Dont like SixAxis, due to lack of rumble motors, light weight, and R2/L2 buttons.
7. Operating System errors and bugs as reported in Japan.

I vote no buy PS3. what for to buy it?? If I have playstation 1 or 2. I am satisfied with it. Why waste alot of money on ps3 for?? I could use that money for good reason.

PS3 is different from PS2 because of graphic and support HD but PS2 don't have HD support. If you want play games in HD and superior graphic then get PS3 or Xbox 360 but if you want motion sensor (move based on direction) then get PS3 or Wii (move based on body).

I'm get Xbox 360 in next month and love to play on HD and superior graphic with VGA cable in monitor.

I had played PS3 at Best Buy but you got option to turn motion sensor on or off.
2) Xbox 360 got emulation for get HD but more limited than PS2 games but not sure.
3) There's memory adapter that you can get saves on PS3 and using PS3 controller.
6) I don't have problem with controller except for motion sensor but don't care about weight and R2/L2 is much better, just similar to 360 controller on trigger.

Forget to mention...

It's up to you for get PS3 or not.

I'm not get PS3 in anytime.

600 for a Pureisutēshon Surī Premium is waay too overpriced for moi right now. I already spent waayy up to the same on my 360 (console, games, accessories and xtended warranty) then I gotta toss in an extra 400 or so on a new tv for it.

I do remember paying 300 for my Pureisutēshon Tsū way back in 2001 at the walfart 6 months after the launch in October 2000. Toss in 2 games, a few cables and sales tax and paid over 400 for it!
