I'm just wondering.. How many times that you upgraded a new speech processor?
 
I didn't upgrade to a newer processor, but I did receive a newer CI. In 2004, my left ear was implanted with the Nucleus 24 Contour Advance. In 2006, I received the Freedom in my right ear. I use both of my Freedom processors with each CI and keep my 3Gs for backup. By the way, I think "0" should be added as an option in the poll since there are some people who cannot afford or do not wish to upgrade.
 
Esprit 22, 3G and Freedom and Bodyworn Sprint(when my CI kept having problems)
 
Soon I will upgrade into new Freedom and it will me my 3rd one... 1, Esprit 22 or 24 ( not sure which one ) then 3G and then soon finally Freedom
 
Zlich, as was implanted just under a year ago.

In Britian they implant the new patients first with current device then upgrade the users if the centre have enough money at the end of finciancal year. My friend is still waiting for upgrade, she had her esprit for nearly 12 years.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to update the poll let alone create one. I think Calvin (one of the mods on AD) is online, so you may want to send him a PM.

I would like to add 1 between none to 2..( eg, 0, 1, 2 ...) could you do that for me please?

I will have two speech processors color is one black and one pink.
