I dont know if many of you pay attention to people who retire, some, if not most pass away within a few years of retiring... because they dont know what to do with themselves ...
When I became disabled, I was irritable, i was restless... it just ate me alive sitting around not able to do anything ( basically due to pain and recovery on my part) but even after I recovered, not 100% yet, I am still restless. I was always in the field of Hard Manual Labor, Supervisory positions... so you can imagine what the family went through with me barking orders like I was directing my work crew of idiots. I still would love to get back into the work force once again if I could get away from the pain I constantly undergo on a daily basis.... it really sucks being disabled, let alone you only get 1/3 or less of what you normally made a month. It really takes a toll on your health and lifestyle. Especially when its a sudden drastic change like my injury has caused me.
