you invite someone to your place or accept an invitation to their place?

I have no idea! Half the time I'm afraid to go on dates! How do you know when it's okay to go out with someone?! I'm clueless!

#1 You need to be ready first. Are you?

#2 Probably depends on person, but for a serious relationship that is to progress to an eventual spouse I'd say it varies on person and should take time. At least a few weeks of knowing the person.

Some dates do it on the first or second week. That's entirely up to you guys.

look for claw marks, bloodshot eyes or unkempt appearance like raggedy clothing and smells really badly? That's probably a good start lol.

on the more serious side of not becoming a stalker or being stalked...or unwelcome advances...

Recently, I've been using a dating site (on recommendation by a female co-worker) and sort of re-learning by crashing and burning a bit. It takes a little getting used to that I'm single and can mingle with anyone. Because the online dating is quite difficult to gauge decent dates from the creepy ones. What you're trying to do is show the person looking at your profile and later your e-mails, is that you're nicely balanced physically and mentally. I've had better dates that came from the online site than real-life dates. They might seem really cool when you first meet them, but then they turn out to be somebody completely different. I think after a few flings around the block, I might cook her dinner. Or if she does...that's a very very good start:D.

I'm just glad I can date anyone I wanted to; no arranged marriages lol.

4th date.....that's the rules....

But.....TxG #2 Always go to their place. It's easier to leave than to hint. :)

> be sure to check out pictures laying around the house.

I've always wondered since I heard this as a kid, and I'm assuming that you're probably a Texan..

I was told that a man who caught his wife in bed with another man can legally shoot that man.

True or False?

False....unless the man's dog is in the room too.

Nah it's still illegal I believe.....but, there is a good chance a jury won't convict him.

depending on which country

Not from MY experience nor anything but I have read that in the first few dates - the apartment or house must be avoided at all costs.

:hmm: Is this really a rule?:lol:4th date might even be too soon for me!

Yes, I think the first few dates should be public...although there are always exceptions.

It all depends on the situation and people. Got to feel it out. Definitely should not have the expectation that you're going to have sex just because you're in the house. That can make it awkward. Just let things progress naturally.

I am reading between the lines here and assuming that we are talking about sex. For now, I don't plan on having sex until I'm married. But the guy is welcome to come in for food or making out.

 I have a 4th date tomorrow!:eek3:

 I love Friends! Why can't I remember this!?

Dunnn dunn dunn:giggle::boink:

4th date is too fast and too slow. I'm not advocating one night stands, but sometimes the chemistry just clicks a whole lot faster. I mean, you could be stuck on a elevator for 20 hours and that might be an accidental date?
