A person here in Toronto-Bena Schuster went through exactly the same condition you did-deafness over a weekend. She wrote a book about 15 years ago. Sorry I can't quote from it-a friend of mine is reading it now. It was published by Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-Ottawa.
