Hello everyone!
I'm a new member.
I would like your help if possible.
I've recently interacted to a profoundly deaf person in regards to hotel friendliness/ lack of for deaf people. I was shocked to find out they have had poor experiences in hotels when it comes to safety. What I'm mainly referring too is if there was a fire alarm there isn't a facility in the room to make a profoundly deaf person aware straight away. This was also mentioned around room cleaners coming into the room as the person in the room was unaware from a knock at the door. I'm sure there are other issues people may of had within hotels and I would like to hear your experiences.
Apologies for any ignorance shown into the wording of this post, no offence meant,
Thank you!
