This year, let us join together to show that we will not forget those
innocent people that lost their lives that morning. The passengers,
the pilots, the people that were working at the World Trade Center
and the Pentagon. Let us join together to show our appreciation for
the brave firefighters, police officers and EMT personnel who ran to
help others. To show our remembrance, our strength, our resolve and
our love of our country, let's join together again.

On the evening of September 11th, rain or shine, light up the front
of your home, your yard, your street, your walkway, your porch, your
front steps.

Take time and remember the events of 9/11, how deeply you were moved, scared, touched. Pray that our nation continues the fight on
terrorism so that events such as this do not happen again on our soil.

Pass this along and hopefully by 9/11 it will have reached many
throughout the USA and perhaps even the world. What a statement to
our nation, our neighbors and especially to those lost on that tragic
day.

We have not forgotten.
Light some candles the evening of September 11th.

God Bless America !!

I had a moment's silence yesterday since it was already September 11th here...still, had another silence today -- in accordance to USA's Sept 11th today. It will never leave my memory...never. It's forevermore etched in my heart and mind.

I just hope that those who afflicted the attacks on Sept 11th pay for what they've done. (I'm not too sure about you being aware of the Bali bombings on October 12th last year...? Two 2 terrorists, Amorzi and Samaudra have been convicted and sentenced to die before a firing squad - two bombings occurred at two popular pubs - the Sari Club and St Paddy's Irish Pub -- 88 Australian's were killed).
Back to topic...sorry...God bless those people who lost their lives and relatives who lost their loved ones.

of course I won't forget september 11 cuz it'll be in my heart til the day I die.. and I went to get drink and all that.. it's hard month I can tell :ugh:

I know all those people are in heaven and watching over us. It was just a terrible thing that happened. It'll always be remembered.

Muslims never did anything bad to me.
Figure it out.
I am terrified of "Americans".
They would make Hitler proud.
REMEMBER 911.

I will never forget waking up, and being told by my roomies that there'd been an attack on the World Trade Center...I remember becoming cynical with that good ol' mindless display of patriotism. Shrub is a MORON and could have helped prevent MANY needless deaths!

The topic:
"Honor and Pray for the Victim Families/Relatives & Friends, Sept 11th"

This thread is not for politics but to remember and honor the people who were killed, and to pray for their friends and families. Can we please show respect for those who suffer and mourn? :tears:

I purposely stayed away from this thread yesterday. It's a hard day for America.

Especially New York. I saw all the smoke from my back yard. I had no idea what was going on until I got home from running errands. I flipped on the television and saw all the commotion. My mother saw the towers fall from her office at work, through the window. My husband went down there and didn't come home for 3 days. My friend was a volunteer. A boy I went to high school with had just become a firefighter and died trying to rescue people. Another friend of mine lost her husband, who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald.

These people, as well as those who died, and their families and friends are all in my prayers. It was a nightmare. I will aways remember 9/11.
