Homeless man charged with stealing lights off top of Zakim Bridge

The alarms went off but they where ignored by the security , they said the snow can cause the alarms to go off . What a poor excuse for not doing their job. I feel the guys should be fired .
 
What a strange thing for the homeless man to do "just because he always wanted to do it". Huh? Probably no charges against him as he'll be found mentally incompetent.

I agree but I find it stranger that security just sat there and did nothing . They were lucky an airplane did not fly into the bridge . The lights were to warm planes to be watch out for the bridge .
 
Wonder how he got caught in the first place if both beacons were already dropped off at two locations. What led the police to Clifford?

if found mentally incompetent - he will be "sentenced" to a mental ward

Yes he confessed but did he walk into the police station or did the police seek him out?

Reason asking he did the deed twice, in early 2000s and then again in Feb. What was the circumstances that led to the confession
 
Repeatedly interacting with the government and expecting different outcome is the very definition of "insanity".
