I went to my 8th grade trip to out of the state. We went to Washington DC. I got a few pics to show you. My favorite historical moment was seeing the Washington Mountament. And Abe lincoln memorial. It was weird because when we visit the Lincoln memorial; his hands were showing A and L. in signlanguage!!!! I'll add a few of my pics from my DC trip. I also got a few pics from the 9/11. They had an attenna from the twin towers. It was huge. Mostly it was very quiet in the 9/11 memorial room. And they had a piece of metal from the airplane that crashed the first tower. Look closely to Lincoln's hands.

Wow! You've been around the world, huh? I'm jealous! I wanna go traveling with you! :)

Favorite Historical place I've been to would be...either the Battle, England (site of the Battle of Hastings) or Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, England where it is rumored King Arthur lived. It was refortified in the mid 6th century AD and has a labyrinth of caves beneath it called Merlin's cave. There is a footprint in the rock at the top and, according to history, the Ancient Kings of Brittain would kneel placing their foot there, salute the land, and that is how they claimed their throne. So I got to place my foot where Kings did theirs. How cool is THAT?

Since I am a history freak, I have been to thousands of historical sites :giggle:

But the most memorable and unforgettable one would have to be the ancient city in Italy, Pompeii - even to this day, I still cannot shake the sense off that I felt while exploring Pompeii.
