Hello, my name is Karl. I'm hearing, but have always been interested in sign language. I've taken the sign language classes that my college offered so I know a little bit. Anyway, I'm 21, from Illinois. I'm really fascinated by Deaf culture but I don't really know too much about it. Also, I'm in a diversity class and we are supposed to interview someone from a different culture. I figured I would choose Deaf Culture because it interests me, and I'm debating on getting Certified as an Interpreter.
If anyone who is part of Deaf Culture would like to help me out, and talk with me about what it means, and some beliefs and stuff that would be greatly appreciated!
