hello to you all

Im not deaf myslelf but am activly trying to learn Asl as several people where i work are severaly hearing impared and I wish to be able to better comunicate with them.
I do have verry severe stutter though, so im well aware of the frustration that a comunication impairment creates. ive had to resort to using a pen and paper many times myself.

and as for my user name thepythonguy... well I have 5 pet ball pythons

Welcome to AllDeaf :) .. Hope you find learn ASL to comunication with deaf ppl in Alberta .. Does there have ASL class ? maybe you can go there and learn asl or meet deaf ppl to teach you ? :dunno:

yes there are clasees I can take, however im trying to learn the basics right now on my own. and the guys I work with are more than willing help out.

Ive just about got the alphabit memorized right now
 
just take it easy. I don't know sign language. I am very hard of hearing and oral.I too want to learn singing but the sign language of my own country needs some standardization so I have decided to wait till 2009 when the standardization process is expected to be completed.
