my name is chris. i'm not deaf, but i am slowly but surely losing my hearing. i've been thinking about it, i should should learn asl and lip reading before i completely lose my hearing, this way it will be easier to learn. i did a google and found this forum. thought i'd join so i can get to know you guys and learn about what it's like to be deaf so i know what i will have to face in the future. i look forward to meeting all of you
