Hello.. I am not deaf.. I am going to start school in the summer to get my associates degree for ASL interpreting and I just wanted to see if i can find friends that can teach me a little before I start.. ASL has always seem interesting to me since i was small and now that I am motivated to actually make it my choice of career. I want to have friends to talk to and learn for them as they can learn from me as well.. I am a single mother of a handsome boy that will turn 6 on 02/01/2013.. and he is also the reason why i decided to go back to school.. The reason why I decided to choose that subject as a career is because I feel I will make a differance and help people that are deaf communicate with the world using me as a positive thing. I also want to teach my son that weather if you are deaf or not everyone is the same and should be treated equally..
