Hi folks first let me intruduce myself I am Male in my 70,s so not a young guy ,just want to comnunicate with other folks who like me have a cochlear ear plant. I have had mine approx 3 years and fine it great ,but now told I need another one for the other side lol.:fingersx: I am hoping to raise enough cash next year to hopefully get one as the Health service in Australia are a little behind the times with funding . Tess

Hi Tess - I'm from Australia too. Welcome! There is a CI subforum here if you haven't noticed already.

Why don't you just join Medibank Private? My friend got her bilateral implant on this fund just recently. You just need to belong for 12 months before they will fund it.
