Hi I'm new to the site and I can't really refer to myself as deaf, but I have had a hearing test and have problems hearing high pitched sounds which make conversations in noisy places hard to follow, I have problems with the telly sometimes and have to turn the handset up on the phone. I was told when I had my hearing tested that a hearing aid wouldn't help in my situation as it would make all sounds louder but I was wondering if anyone knew of any aids which might help? My hearing problem is probably inherited as both my parents have similar troubles with their hearing. Hope I'm in the right place to find the help I need.
