Hi, I'm new, totally deaf. Looking for friendship

Hello, My Name is Akiji, I am from Hawaii and I now live in Colorado. I was born deaf in my left ear from an defect, lost my hearing in my right from an acoustic neuroma that damaged the vestibular cochlear nerve. I didn't become totally deaf until after the surgery to remove the tumor. This was recent and I am now taking ASL classes.

I am also a T4 Paraplegic from a car accident and I play wheelchair tennis. I am glad that I found this site. Thank you
 
how do you play wheelchair tennis? nvm i youtubed it thats pretty cool. You ever try basketball?
 
I can hit a tennis ball, but basketball is beyond my talents. Many wheelchair basketball players are out there.
