I am a high school student in California and took interest in American Sign Language in the 6th grade. I decided I was going to take a class in the summer, but had second thoughts because I wanted to learn a language connected to my family.
Unfortunately, due to our family history, we only use English
but I've decided that I should go on and learn ASL because I want to so why not?
