I'm Katie. I'm 17, and I'm hard of hearing. I've had a cochlear implant since I was 8. I've been raised in the hearing world and don't know anyone who is deaf. I have taken an ASL class and I plan to take more as soon as possible.

There's a plethora of summer camp programs.......If you're Christian, you might want to look into the Bill Rice camps...they're free and go up to age 19.......if only you had posted in the fall I would have encouraged you to look into the NTID or Gally summer programs (there's a program for dhh kids who want to become fluent in ASL) Summer Camps for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children and Teens
