Hi,
My name is Classy. I'm hard of hearing. I can usually get by without hearing aids at home, but in class and some other public settings, I do need them. I also prefer CC when watching shows, since I usually miss some of the dialogue otherwise. If I'm too close to hearing for here, please let me know, and I'll happily find somewhere else.
My wife is also HoH, though her hearing is much worse than mine, and is getting progressively worse. In all likelihood she'll be fully deaf at some point. We're trying to learn ASL together so we're prepared for when that happens. She just signed up here as well; her account is brialoree. We're also trying to get more connected with the Deaf community, especially locally.
