I found this website surfing on the net and wanted to join!
I'm taking an ASL class and I'm really enjoying it. All my life I've been involved in volunteer work and also with special needs children. One of the main reasons I wanted to learn ASL is because even though I live here, I would like to teach ASL to the children over there. They do have a LSP (Lengua de senas Peruanas) but unfortunately it is not that advanced... The only resources I found is that most of the signs of LSP are derived from ASL.
Anyway... if someone's close to where I live it would be great if we could meet so I can practice more of my signing!
