Hello!

I'm Rachel. I'm a twenty-two-year-old student, pursuing my education degree. Two years ago, I graduated from the Interpreters Training Program. Joining ITP wasn't about becoming an interpreter; I just wanted to learn the language.

Now that all my fellow classmates have graduated and moved on in their interpreting careers, I'm still stuck in college and I feel my skill (what little I had, anyway) declining.

So, I thought it might be a good idea to join this forum, get to know some of you fabulous people, and help get back into the world of Deaf Culture again. I really miss it!

So, hii!

Rachel

Mountain State? Colorado?

Simown, I'm still "stuck" because I don't want to be in college, lol. And I have at least two more years until I can graduate. The education program is difficult to get into, and the prerequiste tests are even harder! I'm just a bitter "super senior" college student. I was supposed to graduate last year, but the two years it took me to get my Associate's in ASL Communications/Interpreting threw me off course. That and the fact I'm afraid I won't pass the math exams to get me into the program.

That was a really long explanation, lol. Sorry!

posts from hell, The Mountain State is West Virginia. ;) We're a little less snowy here, but not by much this winter. I can't wait until spring!
