My good friends roommate is deaf, and I'm starting to feel like i'm an @ss for not being able to communicate with him, along with so many other people around him. He's a wonderful person who has to resort to writing on a note pad to communicate. I feel as I can do more to meet him in the middle. So I am begging anyone who is affluent in sign language to help me communicate and make his day easier.
