My name is Leigh Ann Staten, and I am an interpreting student @ a local college. WOW!!!! I always LOVED the language, even as a child i was fascinated by it, but as i go further and further into my studies, I am completely amazed at how strong a culture it is!!! Most functions I go to leave me emotional and completely in AWE of the people i meet, i have never been exposed to a culture that is so patient and considerate of new people... so if any of you are people i may have met at Deaf Coffee, or MSD, thank you !!! for welcoming me and my classmates into your intimate circles of friends!!!
Hmmm... what else, I am also the mother of two wonderful teenage boys, and enjoy spending time with them whenever i can.
I live in Mississippi, and welcome any new friends, I joined this site in the hopes that i could meet people from different regions of the country and see what life is like in other parts of the country!!!
