My name is Grayson Peddie and I'm hearing/visual/speech impaired.

I live in Tallahassee, FL, and I'm currently in for the GED, hoping to get to college as soon as possible (trying to get the reading part out of the way...difficult for me to pass)... I live in the apartment with my family.

The reason I am here is I am looking for an online deaf community (note that I have a little knowledge of sign language) and I thought I'd like to come here to ask anyone of those who have experience with T-Mobile Sidekick or Sidekick II (which I'd probably do a search before I post in a forum), since I do have some trouble trying to get my Ameriphone Q90-D to work with Alltel Motorola V710 (my family signed up with Alltel) and I found it embarassing to switch my phone to analog mode and when I hang up or don't use my phone for approximatly 10 minutes, my phone switches back to digital, which I found it unintentional to my needs...

With a lot of posts in how they find out about AllDeaf, I think that this forum will probably be a bit more active than DeafBase.com. I will be visiting AllDeaf more than DeafBase...

 :welcome: to AD and enjoy~~
BTW, you know I have been to Tallahassee, Florida alot of times. I pretty love that town. Plan on moving to Tally ltr this yr.

This forum's a lot more active than in DeafBase.com!

Good to see you all here! :D

You know I've tried searching forums using keywords like "TTY forum" and have a hard time during the past couple of months looking for an online deaf community. Typing "deaf forum" are a whole lot easier for me to find, and I found "AllDeaf!" I don't remember searching "deaf forum" in MSN or Google couple of months ago, but now I found the forum and my search is over for me. But before I get to this forum, I found DeafBase.com when I do a keyword search for "Sidekick II deaf forum" but DeafBase seems to be inactive like I mentioned earlier.

I thought it would help that if they do a search for "TTY forum" in Google/MSN, it would help if the forum could reach up to the top of the search result to get them to find easier, but doing a keyword search for "deaf forum" are a whole lot faster than typing the keywords "TTY forum" since Google/MSN brings up the AllDeaf link to the front of the page in search result.

Well, glad I'm here! :)

No problem. I know how to use the forum and since I've used other forums before (like 3D GameStudio Forum; I am a moderator there), so I'm not new to browsing forums.

To others, thanks for your comments and welcomes. :)
