my name's harper, i'm a girl - almost 20 & going to college to hopefully & eventually major in film studies.
i have a pretty good grasp on asl, i'm not deaf or hoh, but my bf has severe hearing loss. he was raised by hearing parents & was never exposed to deaf culture, so he uses oralism & sign language (sorry if my terminology is off). anyways, we both want to become more involved in the deaf community, so i thought here would be a nice place to start.
