Okay, I was told that the area around Gally (I *have* been to Gally) has quite improved so it is OK to walk around and whatnot.

You all are right-- about me going into the Gally's hood alone. I didn't realize I will be travelling solo. I usually travel with friends and whatnot but my husband had to go to Gally a day earlier and I cannot afford to miss my classes...
I won't drag around a big baggage so I won't be a prey to be mugged. I will try my best to dress like I am a poor university student. Wish me luck.

I will try the Union station to see if the shuttle will let me jump on the shuttle... (quizzing my Gally friends)

Will it make a difference if I say: I will be in D.C. in the morning??? Well I know how to fight off bad guys. I have walked in the NYC streets... I will TRY to find a car ride from a Gally friend whoever owns a car... if all fails, I will resort to use the metrorail, Ok folks?
I will POST in this thread to announce whether I arrive FINE in D.C. and which route I will use ;-)
