Hello ummm i am in an asl 1 class and at the end of the semester i have to perform a song. Can anyone help me translate the lyrics to the song wanted into asl grammar format please and thank you?? It is greatly appreciated.

Wow...in all the years I tried to learn ASL, I never once had a class assignment to "sing"....thank God...

Most ASL classes don't teach them how to sign in songs as you perfectly well know that Deaf people can not hear the words and music very well. There are mild hearing loss people with hearing aid who can be able to pick up words and music but not accurately. Is your ASL instructor hearing? Or are you just make the choice to sign in songs? If you want to sign in songs, then you have to figure out yourself with signs and expression emotions.
 
It's basically a make out song; how hard can that be? It's nothing deep. :lol:

A guy flatters a girl because he wants to hold her hand, kiss her, hug her, etc.

I must say, the "Like everything that's green, girl I need you" is new to me. Is that about Kermit the Frog, dollar bills, or some kind of ecology reference? It doesn't seem very romantic.
 
Umm, maybe find a Deaf/deaf guy and impress him. Then he will help you with homework. Maybe you will be able to seduce him if you had or have a car with turbocharged engine. The best luck.
