hi, my name is ronni, both my parents are deaf. i am hoping that some of you can help me, i am interested in becoming an interperter but am not sure how to go about doing or starting that. i live in ambler pa which is near philly. if anyone has any suggestions, i'd appriciate it...thanks..

Hello and welcome to Alldeaf! As for your interest in becoming an interpreter and not sure where to go or where to start...one suggestion is to check all the colleges and community colleges that you know of in the area and check to see if they offer such a course, another way to go is to 'google' the information for your area and state. Sure wish you the best on your search and hopefully you'll get to that point whereas you'll be a certified interpreter, having the satisfaction of doing it, to be blessed with rewarding, enriching experiences while being one! Also, hope you'll enjoy your stay here in AD.
