My name is Debbie and I know sign language. I first learned it 27 years ago and remembered quite a bit and when I went back to college three years ago, I chose to take up ASL again and this time learned from a deaf teacher.
I go to a church here in Gates and we are now offering signed services weekly and I'm proud to sit on that ministry and bring my skills. I've met some wonderful deaf and hard-of-hearing people and see my skills improving.
Can anyone suggest links that will keep up my skills. I have a few like Dr. Vicar but want more as at this moment, I'm putting on hold becoming an interpreter.
