Hello all!!!
My name is Brett Dupuy... I am from Ohio, and I would like to get to know others who are Deaf or Deaf-Blind here if there are any.. I am Deaf-Blind myself, and depend on large font, and so I prefer to type in all caps when I can't make the font large enough.. I know it is considered shouting, so I want to make sure you all would know the reason for my typing in caps before starting that way.. It is NOT to be shouting, but rather for easier reading.
I hope to get to know you all and find Deaf People from Ohio who are possibly interested in becoming SSP's for OADB.. I am a board member of that group and the letters stand for "Ohio Association of the Deaf-Blind. If you have already experienced being an SSP (Self Support Provider) Great!! Please share with me your experience. If you would like to receive training, I can put you in touch with the appropriate Board Member.
I look forward to meeting you all.. If I dont hear from any of you before Christmas, hope you all have a blessed one.
